Bedrock Psychology Group
Bedrock Psychology Group Northbrook, IL · Psychologist-Led
Bedrock Psychology Group office

Built by clinicians who believe the level of training matters.

Bedrock Psychology Group is a psychologist-led practice in Northbrook, Illinois. We provide evidence-based therapy for adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

The practice was founded with a clear point of view: high-functioning adults who need real help deserve doctoral-level clinical expertise, not a referral to a checklist. Our team brings together PsyDs, PhDs, a licensed social worker, and a licensed clinical professional counselor, all working under a psychologist-led model that emphasizes rigorous diagnosis and personalized treatment.

We are not doing our clients a favor by serving them. They are doing us a favor by giving us the opportunity to do so.

Dr. Paul Losoff founded Bedrock drawing on his own background as a musician—a perspective that directly shapes how the practice approaches creative professionals, emotional complexity, and the intersection of identity and mental health.

Five clinicians. One unified standard of care.

Common questions

Is therapy right for me if I usually handle things on my own?
Yes. Many high-achieving adults use therapy as a proactive tool, not a last resort. It provides an objective perspective and evidence-based strategies for managing stress and transitions. It is not an admission of weakness—it is a practical tool for people who want to maintain their edge.
Where are you located? Do you offer telehealth?
Our physical office is at 910 Skokie Blvd, Suite 208, Northbrook, IL 60062, serving the North Shore including Deerfield, Glenview, and Highland Park. We also offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth across most PSYPACT states.
What is the difference between a PsyD, a PhD, and other therapists?
Both PsyD and PhD are doctoral-level clinical psychologists. A PhD often emphasizes research; a PsyD focuses on the practical application of therapy and assessment. Both require more advanced training in diagnosis than master's-level clinicians, providing greater specialization for complex mental health needs.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We respond to new inquiries within one business day. We will do our best to schedule your initial consult within the same week. If our current availability doesn't match your timeline, we will be honest about that and help you find alternatives.
Do you provide ADHD testing or formal assessment?
We do not provide formal diagnostic testing or assessment at this time. Our ADHD work focuses on management, strategy, and emotional regulation for adults who already have a diagnosis or a strong clinical picture. We can refer you to evaluation resources if needed.
